Mangalitsa: Realy Expensive Pig Grease
Here you can see some Mangalitsa fat selling for €9,95 per 150 grams -- that's a mere $42/lb - and that's in a place where Iberico is for sale too.

One pound is about 450 gramms. That gives $29.85/lb price for me.
The container is .15 kg for 9.95 euros.
Here it is figured today, using Google Caluclator. The conversion steps are in the described sequence:
EURO->dollar (this changes moment to moment)
(9.95 Euros) per (.15 kg) = 13.73697 U.S. dollar per (.15 kg)
.15kg -> kg
(13.73697 U.S. dollars) per (.15 kg) = 91.5798 U.S. dollars / kg
kg->pound
91.5798 (U.S. dollars / kg) = 41.5398985 U.S. dollars / pound
$41.54/lb would be today's equivalent price. It is only different from the time I made the post due to the dollar/euro rate changing.
